Brush Creek Cemetery was founded in 1782, corresponding with the burning of the original log Brush Creek Church. The oldest remaining marker in the cemetery dates from the 1700's. Brush Creek Cemetery has been the final resting place for veterans of every American war since the Revolution. They are a non-profit, non-sectarian concern that provides services to people of all faiths.
